Information Collection
AC Remote does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All remote configurations, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device.
IR Transmission
The app uses infrared signals to control air conditioning units. No personal data is transmitted to external servers during remote control operation.
Data Storage
All saved remote configurations, preferences, and settings are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage mechanisms (UserDefaults and app sandbox). This data is not accessible to other apps or transmitted off your device.
IR Code Database
The app may download IR code databases from our servers to support different AC brands and models. These requests contain only the brand/model identifier and do not include any personal data, device identifiers, or usage analytics.
In-App Purchases
Premium features are managed entirely through Apple's In-App Purchase system. We do not process, store, or have access to any payment information. All billing is handled by Apple.
Analytics & Tracking
AC Remote does not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. We do not collect usage data, crash reports, or device information beyond what Apple provides through standard App Store analytics (which you can opt out of in iOS Settings).
Children's Privacy
AC Remote does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or collect any personal data from any user.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
